Sedation Dentistry

Sedation dentistry refers to the use of sedatives to calm and relax patients prior to and during dental procedures. Sedatives are carefully selected to achieve minimum or moderate sedation in order to relax our patients without loss of consciousness or awareness.

Sedation dentistry is the use of nitrous oxide and oxygen (commonly called laughing gas). It alters yours state of consciousness, but you do not become unconscious. You are highly relaxed and less aware of the dental treatment. It is also safe for children and teenagers.

Sedation dentistry is becoming progressively more popular because of the benefits for the patients. And for certain patients, the use of sedation dentistry is the preferred method to get the dental care they need and improve their dental health. Dental sedation can offer:
